The Solène Trench is a relaxed shirt-trench made from lightweight quality cotton gabardine. It features a drop shoulder, collar and stand, 3/4 length sleeves, buttons or hidden snap closures, and a choice of military patch pockets or clean pocket flaps. Designed to be worn as either a shirt or lightweight jacket, it can be lined or left unlined. Made to your perfect proportions and style vibe.

    At Reine, every garment is tailored to fit you perfectly at no extra cost. Whether you’re based in Auckland or elsewhere, we offer in-person fittings at our Auckland atelier or virtual consultations. For virtual fittings, we can usually send a sample garment for you to try on. We source suitable fabrics in colours you prefer, with each piece made to your exact proportions for exceptional style and comfortable fit.

    DESIGNER'S NOTE

    I’ve reached for my Solène all year round. It’s super cute, incredibly easy to wear, and has that relaxed Copenhagen street-style vibe we all love. I wear it as a shirt, and then as a jacket with a singlet underneath.

    Great with shorts or relaxed drawstring pants. Leave it open as a little jacket, button it up as a shirt - it somehow always looks pulled together without feeling too military or too masculine.

    I particularly love it in darker colours - white feels a little too nursey for me. I’d actually love to make one for myself in a subtle pattern next.
