This cropped version of our Manon Cape is a Reine signature style, with a sculpted cocoon shape in luxury wool melton or quality cashmere/wool blends, with a satin lining. Hip length, it features military patch pockets and flaps, optional shoulder epaulettes, hidden metal fastenings and curved side-seam splits.  Made to your proportions and preferred length.

    At Reine, every garment is tailored to fit you perfectly at no extra cost. Whether you’re based in Auckland or elsewhere, we offer in-person fittings at our Auckland atelier or virtual consultations. For virtual fittings, we can usually send a sample garment for you to try on. We source suitable fabrics in colours you prefer, with each piece made to your exact proportions for exceptional style and comfortable fit.

    Once your order is placed, custom garments are typically shipped within 1-2 weeks.

      DESIGNER'S NOTE

      The cropped military Manon felt like a natural evolution of the original. We kept the sculpted cocoon shape, cropped the length and added military pockets and detailing - it completely changed the attitude of the cape.

      It’s become one of those pieces I throw over almost anything. Jeans, trousers, a long skirt or my leggings - somehow it just works, and makes whatever I’m wearing feel pulled together.

      I’ve started carrying business cards when I wear it because I get stopped so often. That probably says it all.
