Our verified @reine_atelier Instagram account was permanently disabled by Meta on 9 November 2025, after six full days spent appealing their decision.

It’s disheartening, given the thousands of hours (and dollars) we invested in building our presence – and the joy that came with connecting with you.  Even more concerning is that Meta refused to accept our assurance that our content was in no way 'offensive' or 'in breach of policy' – perhaps they could have simply looked at it, with eyes.

In June 2025, Fleur’s puppy and sailing accounts were disabled by AI moderation, along with the Reine account.  We managed to have Reine reinstated – so it seems it’s now guilty by association with 'offensive' photos of a chocolate puppy and blue skies over the sea.

We’ll keep you posted if and when we begin another account.  Meta has advised that they can’t guarantee future accounts won’t also be disabled, as they’ll be linked to a previously 'offending business account'.  Thankfully, Meta doesn’t own Shopify – so they can’t delete our website as well!

In the meantime, we’ll be adding a Work in Progress page here on our website, so you can still see our latest bespoke creations and what’s happening in the studio.  We’re mindful that everyone’s busy, so we’re undecided about sending regular email updates. What we loved about Instagram was that you could connect with us whenever it suited you.
