The Ms Kate Coat is made from soft Japanese wool melton with a fully lined interior. It has an oversized fit with hidden metal fasteners, pleated 3/4 sleeves with cuffs, deep front patch pockets with flaps, and curved side hem splits.

Whether you’re based in Auckland or elsewhere, we offer in-person fittings at our Auckland atelier or virtual consultations. For virtual fittings, we can usually send a sample garment for you to try on. We source suitable fabrics in colours you prefer, with each piece made to your exact proportions for exceptional style and comfortable fit.

      DESIGNER'S NOTE

      Ms. Kate is my take on the relaxed 1950s house coat – reworked for modern comfort and ease, and somehow ended up looking quite cool and quietly Japanese minimalist.

      It has voluminous three-quarter sleeves and a soft structure that feels casual but pulled together. I often reach for it on studio days or when I’m running around town – it’s that perfect in-between layer that’s easy to wear and still feels considered.

      We’ve made it in fabrics that hold up beautifully, even with regular wear. The Reine team and our clients have found endless ways to style it – from casual to more elevated looks.
