The Babette Blazer is a perfect example of how we design with our clients. We use one of our existing styles as a starting point, then evolve it together into something that really feels like them.
For this client, we began with elements of our Aurélie and Anouk Blazers, but it quickly became clear the proportions felt too restrained. So we exaggerated the shoulder width, widened the sleeve, and sculpted the shape further with each fitting. At one point we changed the double-breasted front as it was too much fabric, and pulled focus from that incredible sleeve. Gone.
This client is high fashion, forward-thinking, and knows what she likes - which made the process even more creatively satisfying.
