I chose a robust cotton drill fabric for this shirt dress deliberately because lighter fabrics tend to lose their shape and end up resembling a rather forlorn 'nightie' after a few rounds in the wash. I wanted to preserve the shirt's distinct exaggerated shape and fullness.
For my workdays, I've found the perfect balance with the Cosmo. I pair it with chic mules when I expect clients to drop by, and the rest of the day, it's a seamless transition to slides and trainers, all while looking equally fabulous.
For a touch of utilitarian chic, I've been loving the combination of my Luca Gilet with this shirt dress.
